so yesterday, I received a text message from kak awin around 11.30am tanya nak join tak ada baking session dekat White Lodge international pre-school. I was in Giant supermarket during that time sebab nak betulkan spect yang tercabut ni haha. tapi bila pikir eh apa salahnya, sebab mummy pun tengah free dan kebetulan over the past weeks memang dah plan nak jumpa kak awin dengan anaqi tapi biasa la, when we plan things; usually they do not come as you planned it. but when you don't plan, things come in your way. hence, impromptu plans are always the best *roll eyes*
jadi dari Giant terus balik ke rumah, had to fetch my little boy from his nursery first and both mummy and hadif bersiap2 sebelum made our way to Nexus Bangsar South. mummy's so useless when it comes to finding places, especially when navigating areas. thats why daddy never trusts mummy to navigate the map hahahhahaa. well, safra being safra; sesat jugak! pusing2 sekejap area Nexus building tu eventually baru jumpa pintu masuk White Lodge.
my first impression was, awwwwwwwh so cute! love the ambience there, very lovely. without hesitation mummy pun went "ok hadif we're gonna have lotssss of fun today so please behave and enjoy our baking session ok?" dalam hati. alhamdulillah, mungkin berkat doa seorang ibu yang memang nak anak dia have fun baking kot (cehh), maka sesi baking semalam berjalan dengan lancar and what matters the most was, my little bub had so much fun.
we were welcomed and asked to be seated whilst waiting for other mummies and babies to come. thought were already late but the event actually began at 2 o'clock so hoorayy, mummy dengan hadif tak lambat lah semalam hihi. masuk je dalam terus nampak kak awin dengan abg hafizan and anaqi. seronoknya, rindu alahai. last jumpa setahun yang lepas sebelum terbang ke Barca. so glad and happy that we could make it together to the baking session after weeks of planning nak jumpa.
approaching 2 pm, banyak mummies and kids pun sampai then ada briefing sekejap before the session making its entrance. all children disuruh basuh tangan and put on their aprons and chef hats. so comel, i'm sooo gonna get one for hadif for sure. honestly admired how they managed to handle the children; well clearly because dealing with kids will really need lotttttsss of patience and creativity because they can easily get bored. but well done, White Lodge for being able to keep everything under control!

YASSS. both Hadif & Mummy had an amazing and eventful hands-on baking experience, especially for hadif. the theme for yesterday was "Gingerbread Men Cookies". it was truly wonderful to see all the children were enjoying their time there kneading dough, cutting out cookies and decorating them together.

it's surely amazing that sometime we've been given the opportunity to join this healthy activity/event, sambil tu boleh get to know new people. annndd most importantly, mummy just found out that White Lodge has a specially-curated curriculum to encourage children to grow into unique and independent induviduals by allowing children to practice all kinds of skills like maths, reading, comprehension, science and fine motor skills.
