a surprise for him

so today is May 28th and hazim had his final paper earlier this morning.
i am very sure that the moment my husband left the house to go for his exam at 9 o clock, i did not wide awake. kesiannya dekat suami. sorry tak larat nak hantar pergi pintu. you know the feeling of tucking yourself under the warm blanket seems like the best thing ever in life. especially during mornings.

so right now i am planning out a surprise for him. i think it will be wonderful if i make something for him to celebrate his very very final paper. means, he does not have anymore exam papers after this five-ever. he is done with written exams, guys. he has only his dissertation (thesis) that needs to be done and that marks a 30% accumulated credit of his masters year. alhamdulillah, everything goes smoothly with his journey. done with written exams, only a few steps more till he grabs the Masters of Adv Science in Mech Eng. so proud of you, you genius person. you are doing your engineering masters like ABC and done with exams already. now you left only with your thesis and after that you will have your masters. life sounds so much easier when you handle it.
and i wonder how did you do it?
oh and one more question, are you going to proceed your studies with PhD as well?

alright so the surprise that i can think of at this time is to make my very own homemade British scones for him yayy. although he doesnt really keen into dessert stuffs but this time might be a different thing. I have actually asked him to get me scones a-couple of times before but the fact that we didnt manage to have our tea-date together outside (he's preoccupied with studying sessions) and now i am really looking forward to spend our evening together having tea and scones, made with buckets of love heeeehe

so here's the picture of scones in the oven. cant believe my eyes, i managed to shape them into the scone-like-shaped quite nicely without any tools. well gotta need to have proper utensils

so these are my homemade scones. say Hello to them :)

i really hope my husbands gonna like them like i do. insyaAllah. so how do we have our scones here in the UK?
we have them with jams, all kinds of jamsss: strawberry, pineapple, blueberry, blackberries etc also with butter and soft cream. the complementary hot beverage for scones- is tea. British people live their lives for tea and scones. so today i pick the traditional British Earl Tea to go along with the apricot scones.

anddd its almost 4pm right now. he's coming home anytime soon, i shall get ready to prepare everything before he gets home. wish me luck, everyone.
